In July 2024, I joined the affiliate program of Funnelish.com. At the time of joining, I noticed that many people were running Google Ads for Funnelish. I clicked on some of these ads and saw that the Funnelish referral URL was being opened. So, I thought, “I can do this too.” I joined Funnelish’s affiliate program and checked their sign-up page to see if they had any Terms of Service that prohibited running paid ads or using brand keywords. However, I couldn’t find any such terms or restrictions.
After joining, I started running ads for Funnelish using my affiliate link the very next day. Within a day or two, sales started coming in. In July, I got 3–4 sales, and in August, I got 10 sales. By September, I had earned $141.05 in commissions, which Funnelish paid me on the 16th of the month. They usually check the traffic source before making payments, and if the monthly commission exceeds $100, they approve the pending commissions and send the payment. This process happened smoothly for me in the first two months. I received two payments: $141 in September and $144 in October.
Everything seemed fine to me at that point. They were paying me, and my sales were being approved. After my October payment, the sales I generated were directly shown as approved (not pending), which made me think they weren’t checking my traffic anymore. I scaled up my ads, and my sales volume increased to 30–40 per month. I even started getting recurring commissions, and my monthly sales reached 50–60. I planned to scale further, but then came the 16th of the month (the payment date).
When the payment date arrived, I waited, but no payment was credited. My dashboard still showed all my sales as approved, not pending. I contacted their chat support, but they kept saying the same thing: “Your monthly commissions must exceed $100, and our team will review the traffic before payment.” Since my sales were already approved, I thought maybe they forgot to pay or I didn’t reach the threshold. So, I decided to wait until the next month and stopped running ads entirely. The only sales coming in were from recurring commissions, and by now, I had generated around 60–70 sales.
When December arrived, I was hopeful that this time the payment would come, as all my sales were still showing as approved. However, on the 16th, when my payment status changed to “Settled,” no payment was actually credited. The same thing had happened in November. This time, when I contacted chat support, they told me that I had used paid traffic, which was not allowed, and therefore they would not release my payment.
I argued with them, but they refused to listen and withheld my payment. They even started threatening me with legal action, claiming I had used their trademark illegally. Despite multiple requests, they didn’t release my payment, and I was left unpaid for the $2,000 in commissions I had earned.
Funnelish.com is a scam. They didn’t care when I brought them $6,831 in sales through paid traffic, but as soon as it was time to pay my commissions, they found reasons to withhold my payment. They didn’t raise any concerns earlier because they were getting sales. But when it came to paying my commission, they refused.
If anyone has any suggestions on how I can proceed, please let me know. And for those who are using Funnelish’s affiliate program, beware—it’s a scam. They steal your hard-earned money. Funnelish is a fraudulent website. Even Google Ads considers them a scam, claiming they skim people’s credit cards. Stay away from Funnelish and use another funnel-building platform.
